You can now transfer Bilt Rewards points to Marriott Bonvoy!
Bilt Points transfers to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio. But for every 20,000 Bilt points transferred in a single transaction you'll get an extra 5,000 Marriott points.
Sounds good, right? But should you transfer Bilt Points to Marriott?
Probably not; transferring your Bilt points to other transfer partners like Hyatt or American Airlines will add much more value.
Topping off your account if you're short a few Marriott points for redemption would probably be the only reason I would transfer my Bilt Points, or if there is a 150% transfer bonus.
Even if you don't plan on transferring Bilt Points to Marriott, you can link your Bilt account to Marriott for a free 100 Bilt points.
On another side note....
Bilt Mastercard boosted it's referral points by 4x. For the next two weeks, you'll get 10,00 Bilt points for every friend you refer and get approved for the Bilt Card. You can read more about it here.
Over the weekend, Qatar Airways Avios announced that JetBlue flights are now bookable on Qatar's website. The redemption rates were really good, and I even made a YouTube tutorial, too!
But then Qatar Airways decided to remove all of the JetBlue award space a few days later, and now they have returned, but the redemptions are much higher π
For Example:
LAX-JFK in Mint (business class)
Previously 38,750 now, it's 74,000
JFK-Europe in Mint (business class)
Previously 62,000 now, it's 78,000
The lesson is that if a deal sounds too good to be true...
You never know when airlines are going to devalue or increase redemption rates! π€¬
